Vehicles are fit-for-purpose and converted specially to meet the needs of our patients: the fleet can safely take wheelchairs and/or stretchers as required for the patient. Our crew are all trained to our minimum standards, and many are qualified to FPOS intermediate level.

Bariatric Ambulance Transfers
Our bariatric service has been designed accounting the patients needs and years of experience in this field.
We have a fleet of vehicles which are specifically kitted with bariatric equipment in order to ensure comfort and safety of bariatric patients. The crew are appropriately trained to use the latest moving & handling equipment in order to manage transfers of this nature.
We offer a wide range of bariatric transport from HDU bariatric to Wheelchair bariatric transfers.We also specialise in transporting bariatric patients from home to hospital negotiating any stairs. For large patients we do assessments to make sure we can give more accurate quote and also send right type and number of crew required for safe transfer of the patient. All our crew are experienced in Bariatric transfers. Bariatric transfers typically range from 2 man Crew to 6 man Crew for patients up to 42 stones ( 262 Kg) . All our stretchers, Wheelchairs and stair climbers are capable to take up to 62 Stones (400 Kg). Our Bariatric ambulances are designed and equipped with various types of mobility equipment such as Bariatric stretchers, Bariatric Wheelchairs, Bariatric Stair Climbers and Scoops stretchers
